An unassuming neighbourhood restaurant in East London that opened in 2015 with one simple idea: serve a weekly changing menu; never repeat anything.

Eight years and well over one thousand dishes later, that’s what we’re still doing.

“This fixed-menu idea is nothing new, but the Pidgin team have made it fresh and vibrant as a citron pressé.”

”I’m still a little worried about Pidgin, because by the time you read this the menu will have changed and nothing I ate will be of any relevance to you. But I can say, hand on lard-plaqued heart, that you will experience beautiful food, cooked by talented innovators in an environment of cheerful, ramshackle hospitality. In my own scheme of things, there is no higher recommendation.”
